The MATH SIGN PERCENT AND CURSIVE HEBREW series was part of several series of acrylic paintings designed to symbolize, through illegible texts, the Babel-like chaos in our world. The "illegibility" of the percent sign and of cursive Hebrew, at least among the general world public, is well-known. I used two stencils to create each of the paintings in the present series, onr for the percent sign and another for the cursive Hebrew.
